libmail-checkuser-perl software package provides Perl module for checking email addresses for validity, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmail-checkuser-perl
libmail-checkuser-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmail-checkuser-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmail-checkuser-perl *
You will get with libmail-checkuser-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
